Volunteer Opportunities
Serve your community or give back. Volunteer shifts are available Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Adults and teens of all abilities can gain valuable work skills through our volunteer program. Community service hours are available.
Employment Support
We’ve helped hundreds of people to find employment, diverted them from homelessness, and empowered them to become self-sufficient.

The Empowerment Center is an independent non-profit that diverts tons of food each year from the sanitary landfill to thousands of families and homeless who would otherwise go hungry. We’ve also been instrumental in putting people to work, diverting them from homelessness, and restoring individuals to self-sufficiency.

With the rising costs of food, these boxes have been so helpful to fill in the gap for our family. We have been receiving them fairly regularly for the past 3 years, and they have been even more helpful since having our daughter. We love the abundance of shelf stable, and especially fresh produce we have received. The Thanksgiving boxes were especially generous. God bless the Empowerment Center!
My family and I are so very appreciative of the food boxes and volunteers. The food always varies and usually includes meat, fresh vegetables, pantry staples and even sweets! These supplements are so incredibly helpful to us during times we cannot afford groceries. Thank you for ALL YOU DO!!
